Open Water Diver

Open water diver is the entry-level scuba certification course. It provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive.

Open water diver training consist of:
Learning the fundamentals and preparing for the water.
Pool or confined water practice.
One skin dive
4 Scuba dives

Advanced Scuba Diver

This course is a continuing education certification course for certified divers. It is an enjoyable program designed to expand divers basic skills in a variety of diving activities and to be taught entirely in an open water setting. This course will help you gain more confidence and capability in open water, while giving you the opportunity to experience what type of diving you enjoy most.

Advanced Scuba diver training consist of:

Minimum of six open water dives is required with a maximum of three dives per day. oRequired Navigation, Night or low visibility diving and Deep diving (130 feet/40 meters maximum depth). 3 individual elective dives include topics such as: Search and recovery, Boat diving, Hunting and collecting, Exploration and underwater mapping, Shore diving.

Rescue Diver

This course trains divers in the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies. Graduates are considered competent to perform assists and rescues in open water provided the diving site and diving situations approximate those of the course.

Rescue diver training consist of:
Assists, transports, surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.
Adult CPR training. The CPR class can be taken at many places including, YMCA, Red Cross, Hospital programs

Dive Master (DM)

The NAUI Divemaster rating is the highest NAUI leadership-level certification with the exception of Instructor. The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers. The training emphasizes accident supervision and management with practical experience.

Dive Master training consists of:
How to prevent diving accidents.
Recognize life-threatening diving situations.
Correctly initiate and/or supervise rescue/assist procedures.
Effectively perform in-water rescue/assist techniques and procedures.
Correctly manage rescue assistants during and after rescues.
Provide immediate and effective post-rescue aid.
